The purpose of this
webinar is to complete
development of the
data-adequate (P*) and
data-poor (decision tree)
approaches to setting
acceptable biological catch
for Gulf of Mexico stocks in
advance of a late March SSC
meeting (to be scheduled),
and to select stocks for
case studies for each
approach. The Group will
also discuss what advice it
might offer the Council in
deciding whether and at what
level to set a minimum stock
biomass threshold, below
which harvest will not be
